Still chock-full of wispy goodness

What could be better than a whole new section of the site? Presenting City in The Clouds Labs; a continuation of the mysterious Zephyr section. Because this section of the site should house the latest and greatest developments, you'll hopefully have noticed that it looks a bit different to the rest of the site. That's because it is running my next generation vision of the site: codename Grand Casino. Everything's rough around the edges, that's to be expected, but I wanted to get a version live on the web to try and start ironing out any bugs.

Err... what?

So what is City In The Clouds Labs? Think of it as a testing ground for new stuff, yet an interesting and informative place containing web design tips and tricks. Thus Labs will be split into two sections: beta and reference. Note: the beta section is restricted.

Updates- 22/05/08

So, what's new? As of 22/05/08, there's plenty of ideas both for which direction City In The Clouds should head in, and what form the new design will take. Currently there are two projects which are showing the most promise: Grand Casino and Portal. Both versions have the same look and feel, so the design element has been nailed, but the focus and layout will be changing. Therefore Portal has superceded Grand Casino as being the leading version.

City In The Clouds will become a portal of sorts for all the sites I own, and a directory for other sites that I think are great. As ever, all of this is subject to change due to how well I feel a particular idea is working, and my availability to devote to the redesign. I hope this has provided you with an insight into the current progress of City in The Cloud's future.
